This oil painting is based on a photograph I took from the beautiful pink/red roses my mum planted in my garden the year I moved back from the UK.
 
It’s also the year I started to deeply connect with Mary Magdalene.
I don’t think it was a coincidence. Because she embodies the essence of the Rose.
 
The rose is also a powerful Divine Feminine Symbol.
May the Divine Feminine rise again and soften our hearts and elevate our consciousness.
I hope the vibrancy and essence of this rose lights up your heart as much as does mine.
